Davey Graham was an essential figure in the British Folk Revival of the 1960s – inspiring Bert Jansch, Jimmy Page, John Martyn etc etc.
Famed for his unique guitar tuning and his effortless free flowing instrumentals. ‘ Playing in Traffic ‘ was his penultimate official album, originally released in 1993. It was an album that heralded a return to form which reflected Davey’s love and mastery of music from a range of cultures including Celtic, North America, Portuguese, Spanish and Indian. This lost masterpiece of twenty one beautifully haunting recordings, now has a re-release and adds another twist to the mysterious and enigmatic Cult figure that Davey was.
